Charles asks…

i have a netgear DG834Gv5, and it works fine wirelessly with my pc and laptop, but my Xbox just dosent find?

the connection, I have tried everything, anyone help please?

netgear answers:

Make sure your not too far away from the console. If your a few rooms away, or your 2 floors from the router, it probably wont get strong signal. Maybe your Xbox isn't compatible, but thats a small chance, you can also try to connect it wired. Make sure your adapter is working properly as well.

Michael asks…

how to host frozen throne on netgear router DG834Gv5?

I am unable to host on warcraft 3 frozen throne with this type or router, ive tried with ports etc and an get anywhere.

ALSO! i had this removed without my permission saying it was offensive, what kind of ... flags that?!?!!?!??!

netgear answers:

You have to follow the yelllow brick road

Joseph asks…

Help needed Netgear DG834Gv5 Router problems?

Some real help would be much appreciated. Only ever seem to get one answer every time i ask about this..after resetting router the speed has gone down massively. We pay for an 8mb connect, and since resetting the router and having to set it up manually, the speeds dropped massively, so, i'm not Pro at configuring routers.. Can someone please make sense of what i need to do..

netgear answers:

"DownStream Connection Speed 160 kbps"

That's a ridiculously low line speed. Something is limiting your line rate. Most likely, it's something connected to your phone line without a DSL filter. It can be an alarm system, satellite TV receiver, cordless phone, or anything like that. Everything connected to your phone line must have an appropriate DSL filter.
