Would a Linksys Wireless-G USB Adapter work if I plugged it in back of 1 of the USB ports of a Nintendo Wii?
Q. USB Adapter Model - (WUSB54GC)
yeah but in my house i put the wii like right next to the router, but the wii still doesnt download or connect to it that great....

A. Maybe, since the adapter probably has its own drivers on it.

But, your Wii has wireless built in - they all do. So you should not need to add such an adaptor. WHat you need to do is go down to the Options button in the lower left hand of the main Wii menu. Go through the menus there to set up your wireless channel.

does my compaq presario sr2150nx have the ability to use wireless interent?
Q. i just got it from a friend with no driver disks or anything i am wondering if this presario compaq sr2150nx has the ability to pickup wireless non ethernet internet...cause its not picking it up and if it can can someone help me with it (easy 10 points)

A. According to HP's website, the SR2150NX is a desktop computer. If that is the case, then no, you do not have the ability to pick up a wireless connection unless you buy and install a wireless adapter.

There are many adapters to choose from for desktop PCs. I have one from Linksys for my desktop. Just go to:

http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/products/Adapters

then click on the "Desktop" check box. All the ones that show up are made for a Desktop. If you are not comfortable with installing an adapter into your computer, you can purchase a USB version. This is the one that I have that works great:

http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/products/WUSB54GC

Hope this helps.

What is the best wireless solution for Vista? A card or an adapter?
Q. I have a Linksys WUSB54GC and it works but the thing cuts out every 20 minutes and I have to reboot to get it to work again, and I got the Vista Drivers from Linksys.com
First of all I have a desktop not a laptop, and second of all I have the latest drivers from Linksys which is not much they are 3MB, compared with the 50MB for XP. Also I have no interface with Vista its just the drivers, and it lets Vista take over the connectivity part which was a problem in XP if you only had the drivers, and not the software.

A. You may be having issues with the USB port on your system. If you have another USB port try using the adapter in that port instead. If you continue with issues get yourself a regular (non USB) network card. You didn't mention whether your system was a desktop or notebook system but if it's a desktop get yourself a PCI wireless network adapter. If your system is a notebook you can buy network cards that plug into a PCMCIA slot.

Personally, I have never had good luck with USB network adapters. I know other people who love them but not me that's for sure.

I hope this helps,
Captain Computer

Problems with internet on Kalaway Leopard?
Q. I need help getting internet working on kalaway leopard 10.5.2. It is succesfully downloaded but I can't configure the internet. I need the drivers for linksys wireless adapter WUSB54GC (mac) or Need to be able to connect to LAN (option isn't able) plz help

A. Easiest solution is to get a RTL8139-based ethernet card or a USB wireless network adapter with Mac drivers available, since those are the easiest things to find. There are lots of other Mac-capable ethernet adapters available, but you'll have to look for it.

Hope this helps.
