What IP to put in when port forwarding with Linksys?

Q. Ok, so i'm trying to port forward for a Minecraft server, but it requires an IP, but there can only be 3 numbers. What do I put in for the IP?
My computers IP is like, 11 numbers long but I can only put in 3

A. The IP address for the forward MUST be the address of the machine running the server.

I am trying to start a minecraft sever and need help. How do I port forward?
Q. I have a wrt53gL linksys router. How do I port forward? And what would I use for my I.P. Address?
I've gone to my wireless settings but can't seem to figure out what to do to forward forward a port for minecraft. Any help would be great. Thank you

A.

What is the difference between single port forward and port range forwarding?
Q. I'm trying to forward ports in my linksys router settings so that the NAT for my Xbox 360 will be Open.

In the port forwarding menu on my router, there are a few different tabs, 2 of which say Single Port Forwarding, and Port Range Forwarding.

The menu in each tab looks very similar, and I know what to enter and where, but I'm not sure whether I should be entering the port numbers and such in Single Port Forwarding or Port Range Forwarding.

A. Do you know the difference between a single number, and a range of numbers? Yes? Then you know the difference here also.

How do I configure port forwarding when accessing public wireless LAN?
Q. I tried to use some games and programs which require special ports to transfer data. But the connection fails when using access to public wiress LAN such as Linksys routing. How do i configure port forwarding in singapore?

A. In general, you don't. You'd need access to the router configuration to do that, and only the most foolish hotspot operator would let you change the router configuration.

You may be able to tunnel the traffic through a proxy server.
