Q. We have three xboxes on the same internet connection. After port range triggering the first console to connect gets an open NAT but everyone else still gets moderate. but that didn't help the case. I've tried just enabling uPnP, but that didn't work. We have two connecting wirelessly, and one via ethernet cord. Any ideas? We're using an E2000 linksys router. All the ideas would be very much appreciated.
Currently Hope this helps.

A. Did you try enabling UPnP without having port triggering enabled?
Have you updated the firmware on your router? If you haven't, you should. The E2000 should be multi-NAT compatible.
After making a change to the port-triggering and/or UPnP, make sure you reset everything on your network, including your 360's before running a network test.

Wifi router as a repeater?
Q. I have a Linksys E2000 wifi router which I use as my main router. Can I use my Netgear WGT624v4 wifi router as a repeater to extend my wireless range?
A. you can check out www.dd-wrt.com and install their firmware to your router, they have instruction on how to flash the firmware and configure the router as repeater, be sure to look for the model of your router.
Very Slow Wireless Internet at Home?
Q. The Internet at my house is very slow. If just one person is using the internet, the connection is average. When 2 or more devices are connected to the wireless access point, the Internet becomes unbearably slow. My family is into gaming and with our poor Internet, the Xbox 360 and PS3 can not be used online at the same time without causing lag. We have DSL Internet service - Verizon High Speed Internet Enhanced. FIOS is not available in our area. Our router is a linksys e2000 with the latest firmware. I believe that one problem is that we do not have ipv6 connectivity. when I go on the computer and check the Internet, ipv4 - connected, ipv6 - no Internet service. I have checked, and ipv6 is enabled, and i have also tried to disable it then reenable it. The slow Internet has been a problem for years and any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS3 Internet connectivity issues!?
Q. I recently bought a new Linksys E2000 router. No matter what i do i CAN NOT get a moderate or open NAT type on my PS3, but that is not the main problem. My problem is that no matter what settings i change, I constantly have lag when i play PS3 games online, I ALWAYS have a 1 bar connection. My ISP is windstream, and i have a 1.5mps connection. (please do not say upgrade my connection speeds, as i was not having problems with my old router) I have called Sony, my ISP, and the router manufacturer, all of them just keep telling me to call the others, so no one can help me. Also, i have tried forwarding all the necessary ports, tried using the DMZ on my PS3, I have tried everything that i was told to try so far. The router manufacturer said it was NOT a hardware issue. WHATS THE PROBLEM?!?!
A. No sweat - check my long post on the PS3 Forums on Port Forwarding and connection issues. I added screenshots about 2 years ago, and there's enough information there that if you can't get a NAT 2 after reading it, contact me and I'll give you hand. That post has seen over 1000 new views just since Sunday (almost 22,000 total), with the release of Killzone 3 baffling people on why they can't keep a connection.
BTW, I know exactly what you mean about Linksys Support these days. They used to be really good until they outsourced to India, where customer service reps are paid by how stupid they are.
Don't forget it's not just your Router; voltage input and incoming signal strength to your Router also affect overall performance. If you've got more than 2 cable boxes or a lot of stuff on your network, that'll also drop your overall signal strength. The answer for that is a cable line booster - someone asked me about it the other night, and it's on one of the reply posts at the end of the thread.
One thing to always remember about Linksys Routers; aside from just basic setup errors and more significant problems relating to signal, when you have a bad signal or connection issues, flash the firmware (from the Administration Panel on the Router) with the latest update. If you're already using the latest, just re-flash it with that. I'm not sure about the E2000, but the E3000 and E4200 have a cool Reboot button in the Wireless panel so you don't have to flash to clear out any problems.

If you're playing COD or Killzone, there are some additional ports that aren't on my OP (they moved the posts to a new system, so I can't edit my old posts anymore) are posted as replies toward the end of the thread.
Here's a couple of related answers I did from last week:

If you're using the 2.4ghz band, set it for Mixed Mode (unless all your adapters are Wireless N, including an external N adapter for your PS3), Channel width to 20mhz or Auto, and Channel 11. You only use 40mhz for N-only devices, and setting to Channel 11 will give you enough offset from the base frequency to help deal with any interference issues.
