Will the Netgear XE102 ethernet adapter work with my Xbox 360?
I am considering buying a Netgear XE102 instead of the pricey wireless adapter. The device plugs into the wall and uses an ethernet cable to connect it to the Xbox. The same device the other end plugs into the router using the ethernet cable also. Will this work or will it require software that doesn't exist?
netgear answers:
Hell No!

Do you need to have 2 NETGEAR XE102 units for them to work properly?
I just bought one off of ebay, and the ad didnt say i need two but everything els says i have to have one to connect to the router to.
netgear answers:
You need at least two of them to work, yes. If you purchase them at retail, they're often sold in pairs, but you can find single units on some online stores.

How does one of these Netgear XE102 Powerline Ethernet Adapter (XE102US) work?
netgear answers:
I have setup two of these connections and they work VERY well. They translate your Ethernet traffic into electrical signals that are then interpreted and re-translated by the adapter on the other end.
