How do I enable UPnP on my router?
My router is NetGear CG814WG v2. When I write 192.168.0.1 in the address bar, it takes me to the admin page, I log in and I don't know what to do. It's different than anyone else's on youtube. By the way, www.routerlogin.com doesn't open for me. I takes me to a NetGear support page.
netgear answers:
UPnP is already enabled by default.

my internet doesnt work?
well i have a router netgear CG814WG v2 and its going upstream
and everything but the cable light isnt on can someone help me?
netgear answers:
If the cable light on your cable modem (not the router) is not on, this often indicates that your cable modem is not connecting to your cable company's internet service properly. First, I would make sure that the coax cable is connected to the modem and the wall jack tightly. Next, try unplugging the power to the modem, waiting 15 seconds and plugging it back in and see if your cable light eventually comes on (sometimes this can take a minute or two to initalize. If this does not work, might try a different piece of coax cable if you have one.
If the light still does not come on, this is a likely a problem your cable company will have to resolve. Possible causes include a cable outage in your area, a bad cable in the street leading to your house, bad coax wiring in your house, or an issue with your account. Possible account issues can include billing, network abuse, bandwidth, and others.
If this light is on your wireless router and not the cable modem, check its wiring to your cable/DSL modem, and any internal wiring to ethernet devices. You might also check your routers settings (WAN, DHCP, NAT, IP, SSID, WEP/WPA, Wireless channel, etc) and make sure they are correct. If this does not work, you have a bad router or bad cable.

This might sound like an dumb answer but did the antenna come unscrewed?
Now a useful answer:
If no wireless is working (that is how i read it) connect a computer to the router, open a web browser and go to the router settings, it's most likely at 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1 , now go to the wireless tab (i dont know what it is called on netgear) and make sure the wireless is set to ON and network mode is set to either MIXED or G-ONLY. Click Save changes or something like that. Then try wireless again.
BTW: default username and password are admin/admin.

Problem with internet "limited or no connectivity"?
The problem is that there is 2 computers that i leave on with internet.... i have a NETGEAR CG814WG v2. the computers connected are me and my cousins. we both like to play games like battlefield 2.... but when we both play bf2 during the middle of the game we would get a "limited or no connectivity" problem.... and in the game it says.... "There is a problem with your connection" so only on of us can play a game at a time... how do i fix this so both of us can play at the sametime without being disconnected?
netgear answers:
I think sopme how IP value is not correct.
Do the following steps..
1)got to command prompt & type ipconfig
2)see if the ip is coorect & gateway is 255.255.255.0 or not.
3)if not try using command renew ip
4)if it doesnot work.. Go to network settings.. U will find your ip... Configure it to a correct one.
Njoy.... Gaming...
