Setup NetGear router without CD?

I have a NetGear WGT624v3. I tried going to http://192.168.1.1, I used an automatic setup, but it didn't work. All the settings were never changed. How can I set it up without the CD?

Is there some way to download the contents that are in the Netgear router WNR834M install CD?

I got this router from my friend since he got a new one, and e had lost the install CD that came with it. Without this I cannot setup a wireless network. So I was wondering, is there any legal way to download or get the setup installed to my computer, so I may use this router rather than buying a new one? Thanks ahead for any information you may have.
I checked the NetGear website, and I was unable to find any installation files. If you could provide a link, it would be very helpful [=

My D-link wireless router setup is not working!?

Hi,
I use to have a netgear wireless router installed on my computer.... Then I moved to a new house without the netgear wireless router. Now I have internet through TWC and am trying to install a new D-link wireless router to my computer. When I insert the CD to setup my new D-link wireless router it has me go through steps on how to do the correct hooking up of cables until I get to the step where it tells me that it detects that I have an existing router and I need to enter a username and password of an existing router. However I do not have the old netgear router. I tried entering the old user and password for the netgear router.... I tried the default "admin" for the user and a blank password.... I tried "admin" as the user and "password" as the password, but nothing has worked. Can someone please tell me what I need to do??? Do I need to delete information from my netgear router off of my computer and if so, HOW????

Another common default login is admin for both username and password, if still not working try pressing the reset button on the back of the router

can you setup a wireless modem without a setup disk?

i have got a netgear dg834g v3 wireless router but ive got no setup cd and i dont know where to start i have no computer knowlege at all so could anybody please help me or tell me if it cant be done thanks
