I am either told to use Cisco Connect, but I don't have the software for it, or Some type of HTTP that is all numbers that never loads for me. I was not the one who set up our wireless. A. They put reset buttons on routers for a reason. If you can't find a way into it, press and hold the reset button. You do have a manual for the router, don't you, or are you trying to make it work by "asking someone on the internet"?

Q. If I creat a guest account for my cisco linksys e1000, do I have to worry about the guests who logon? for example, if they have spyware, viruses etc or weak a old wep wireless card? I know the manual says they can't get into my computer or files, but still nervous about setting it up. Thanks for any info!
A. You will be safe as long as they are on a guest account.
